I have been receiving repeated DMs from mothers who were feeling dejected seeing the perfect motherhood flaunted everywhere on the social media and the mothers who are following traditional parenting practices were shamelessly snubbed and belittled. "I saw a mother threatening her child about her father, I saw a mother forcefeeding her child, I saw a mother ignoring her child," the list goes on. And they don't fail to show how different and perfect their parenting is. In the process, many of their followers end up feeling low on self esteeming as they believe these influencers who don't have any professional degree, or qualifications on pareting, nutrition or anything related for that matter blatantly misuse the influence. SO MY DEAR MOTHER BEWARE OF THESE HOLY MOTHERS. THEY ARE NOT WORTH YOUR SELF ESTEEM ps. "There are still a lot of genuine influencers I follow who are transparent and real" TYPE OF HOLY MOTHERS Holy mother of perfection The influencers who behave as if they are the perfect mothers who do everything right for their child. Holy mother of judgements The influencers who give comparison of a wring parenting style and states how differently and rightly they are raising their child Holy mother of luxury The influencers who flaunt their luxurious lifestyle and derive examples of how they are giving everything perfect for their child. Holy mother of milestones The influencers who, with the examples of their child's early milestone, deftly flaunt their "perfect motherhood" examples and give unscientific lessons of parenting. Holy mother of instant doctorship The influencers who give medical and nutrition advice despite not having any professional degree or certificate The list is endless - giving separate playroom to the child, not giving boundaries to the child, proudly letting the child waste food, condoning child's tantrums and more. A free planet that is a sister planet of our blue planet. How endearing it would be! Adventures on Doryu, Raid on the Evil Dragon Nest is based on this stupendous idea. A planet with two suns... This is an ultimate fantasy read for the kids. The Green Planet Doryu and Earth were sister planets once. But the Evil Dragons wanted to keep Doryu under control and hence started hatching the dragon eggs to bring up evil dragons. Prince Virann along with Princesses Amelika and Esmella set out to bring the dragon eggs to put an end to the Evil rule. Further it is a thrilling ride through the eyes of the master storyteller. The Evil Dragons Somehow the characters and the backdrop of the plot seemed analogous to me. The greenery of planet earth is deteriorated by the evil human minds who want to keep the planet under their control. The same could be witnessed in the plot. Deliberately or not, the author has brought forth a deep message through the book. Quality It is said that we should not judge a book by it's cover. Unfortunately the possibility of the same is evident in the book cover of Doryu. Seeing the cover noone would guess an impeccably crafted book with high quality pages as good as the visual dictionary fot the kids. Read the full review in my blog Outset. The enchanting master of literature had once again stolen the hearts of the readers with his classic and unique narrative. If you belong to the hate club of literary fiction, better not read the book for you would be forced to quit the club... Classic plunge into the raw human lives The review might sycophancy to the readers but the finesse of the craft in by Amitav Kumar has forced me to tread same path. Yes! I am head over heals in love with the writer's craft. There are only a few books that made be question my finesse. The plot of A Time Outside This Time takes off with the monologue of Satya. Satya is an author who writing a book about the different strata of the philosophy of truth and lies. Like the boy who kills the ants to feed other ants, the author is baiting the circumstances around him that are unique, bizarre yet common. Quirky reality The author's quirky narration style makes the book all the more endearing for the readers. The author derives several layers of perspectives for a single incident through A Time Outside This Time. The historical event depicted over the years has the fictional and real representation of the injustice against the soldiers. But little has been written about the forgotten folks from India. The Muslim soldiers who were key to the war. Ghee Bowman, through this groundbreaking piece of literature goes deep into the backstory of each soldiers. The book is endearing at different levels. It tells about an unimaginable time when there was no Pakistan, Afghanistan or Bangladesh. All were Indians who ventured to fight for the colonial power that smothered their freedom. @danielsilvabooks is back with Gabriel Allon. Now that I have your attention, let me warn you to buckle up for some bumpy ride with the crazy characters. Unlike the trend that we witness with action packed thrillers, characters lead the plot in cellist. Be the Israeli intelligence agents (spy) led by Gabriel Allon ,or the retired millionaire Victor Orlov whose death flags off the plot , or the Journalist who unknowingly subject him to the nerve agent or the ex employee of world's dirtest bank named RHINE BANK, the author has a Casket full of motely characters that push us through the plot. The character portrayal of Allon is brimful of heroid traits and calls for a movie adaptation in itself. However the plot fails to maintain the pace with which it takes off. The subplots waver towards the middle of the book and struggles to come back to track. Nonetheless nothing can dull the charm of the characters and the finesse of the narration. The action sequences are realistic yet thrilling. The readers are up for an adrenaline rush. The author has unfailingly expressed the hatred of the charcters towards Russia. Though the book can be read as a stand alone, several references of the the events in the sequel serves as bumps in the ride.
