Life can be colorful or black and white or in the shades of grey. It’s up to you as to how you would paint it. Every one of you might have lost your key at least once. Searching everywhere desperately you would think, I should have taken a little more care. While searching all over, you might miss a place where it is obvious to find the key or anything for that matter. This is the classic human tendency to ignore the obvious. This is the same with your life as well. You want to be happy and peaceful. In search of happiness and peace, you roam around, embrace religion, and spirituality, and go behind the ‘self-help gurus’ but eventually realize that this is not it. Because the meaning of mindfulness, happiness, peace, and contentment is different for different people. Or you would be lucky enough to realize that it was inside you all along.
I have been attending one course after the other from different tutors. At the end of the day, you realize that the beliefs of one coach might contradict the other. Hence blindly following anyone would be a bad idea in itself.
Seeing inner peace and happiness is not everyone’s cup of tea. Any Guru or coach can show you the path. You have to walk down the lane yourself. To let that happen, the first step is to admit your mistakes. Own them. Noone in the world is responsible for solving your problems. The moment the realization dawns upon you, you will embark on your journey.
Just like identifying your triggers, taking the responsibility for your problems is also a key factor in your quest for peace and happiness.
I have been on a long break from my blogs because I was also on a quest. Now that I am back, let me share my insights with you through my blogs and social media.
Are you ready to walk down the path with me?
Meanwhile sharing some proud achievements with you all. While I have been on a break I was pursuing some certificate courses. Along with the Holistic Wellness Coach level 2 certificates, and Yoga trainer certificates, I did courses on Mindfulness, Meditation, Chakra healing, Pranic healing, EFT-TFT tapping, and Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), ADHD, Occupational Therapy(OT), Ayurveda.
My quest to find the meaning of mindfulness found its destiny when I realized that the first step into being mindful is by knowing yourself.
Congratulations Rakhi on the completion of these courses, I too believe that everyone needs to be a little responsible for their peace and meaning of life.
Wow.. So many feathers in your cap. Congratulations. I agree not just mindfulness but any feelings or emotions are subjective too. Self awareness is the key.
I’m impressed with your certificates, Rakhi. Many of us want to learn but few of us take the step further to understand it the right way. Just curious, are you planning to train/guide others now?
That is what we call coming back with a bang! Welcome back Rakhi! Holistic healing is what is needed to live a healthy and happy life , I am glad you are now an accredited holistic life coach.
Amazing, Rakhi. Congratulations ten times!! I lost count of the certificates. Interesting ones from mindfulness, chakra, tapping, yoga and prenatal. Looking forward to your blogs.
First of all, congratulations on your courses. Graham Nicholls is a wonderful instructor. I have done a couple of his courses. You are right, we need to be clear about our path and what works for us. When we use our intellect, things become clear and our thinking gains maturity.
wow so many certifications. many congratulations rakhi for this amazing achievements. I agree we should never follow anyone’s advice blindly. we can take inspiration from others but at the end, we have to found our own path to see what works best for us.
Absolutely right that, mindfulness is subjective and we have to find the meaning within ourselves. Liked the point where you mentioned that we should have more than one mentor to widen our horizon. Congratulations for seeking mindfulness by completing the courses.
Congratulations on your achievements. I feel the biggest quest of life is to know ourselves. How well do we know ourselves, maybe nothing. So that responsibility is solely ours, no one can be held responsible for that.
[…] Mindfulness is the practice of bringing your awareness to the present moment at the present physical location that you are in. In short the experience is something that you view as a third person. You need to find yourself out of it. You need not attain any special talent to practice mindfulness. It is a natural skill of human beings, but it need to be practiced with the help of a mindfulness coach if you need to attain maximum results.
